Hungarian biometrics company, BioSec Group has revealed a new login solution using palm vein recognition.

Called BS Login, the solution's Active Directory interface makes it system ideal for the corporate environment, said the company.

According to BioSec Group CEO, Péter Györgydeák said: “BS Login brings IT security to the next level. It is not only highly secure, but also simple to use, fast, reliable and convenient. Combining all the above features in one solution enabled an innovative solution, where the user does not have to choose between security and convenience.”

BioSec’s palm vein identification system is based on Fujitsu’s PalmSecure technology – though as software developer all API's were developed by BioSec.

The firm implemented a palm vein system at  Hungarian football champions Ferencváros three years ago. To use the system fans put their hand above the vein sensor positioned at one of the 36 stadium gates to gain admission.
