Seminar on Biometrics in Banking and Payments

7 December 2017
Amsterdam

On Thursday 7 December 2017 EAB will organise a Seminar on Biometrics in Banking and Payments at ABN AMRO (HQ), Gustav Mahlerlaan 10, 1082 PP Amsterdam.

Following earlier successes of this seminar we will now zoom into more practical issues of biometrics for financial services, such as the implementation of PSD2, privacy and data protection in the perspective of the new GDPR and how to choose the right solution. Keynotes will be provided by Jacoba Sieders, Global Head Identity & Access Management at ABN-AMRO, and Michael Sass, Vice President Market Product Management, Security Solutions, Europe at Mastercard.

Biometrics in Banking and Payments presents a line-up of excellent international speakers. Speakers will focus on the underlying business cases and developments in mobile banking and financial transactions. They will share their experiences from a business perspective, touching important aspects such as process flows, added value, fraud reduction, implementation strategy and client experience.

Biometrics in Banking and Payments will provide guidance on how biometrics can be used to optimize key aspects of the banking and payment processes, such as customer interaction, operational efficiency, fraud reduction and prevention. During the seminars we will reflect the many new opportunities arising from the gradual shift away from desktop/notebook computing towards smartphones, tablets and other portable
devices, while sharing best practice of apps and web-based applications.

The seminar is kindly hosted by ABN AMRO Bank Netherlands. Alongside the seminar there will be a Mini Expo, where various vendors show their state of the art technology and solutions.
