Next generation secure identity solutions event SDW 2018 is launching a small batch of very low-price conference ticket sales on Monday, 18 December, but only a very limited amount.

Science Media Partners, the organiser of the industry-leading show, which will be held at the QEII Centre in London betweem 25-27 June, is releasing just five tickets at the extremely low price of just £499+VAT for full access to the three-day conference. These first tickets typically sell out within 24 hours and full price tickets will be £1,250+VAT

Additional reduced rates are available for attendees from government departments and, when you book for another government colleague at the same time, the second place is half price. Attendees from developing nations also benefit from discounted places.

To take part in the ticket sale, see here for more information.

Themes to be explored at the show include "Technological trends - The shape of things to come". This theme will look at challenges, such as terrorism, organised crime, forced migration, identity fraud and social exclusion, that continue to challenge policymakers across the world.

Meanwhile, "Design & manufacture: Best practice", will explore how best practice plays an invaluable role in raising the bar to limit counterfeiting and fraud.

In sessions covering “Bringing next-generation government identity solutions to life”, experts will explain how secure identity credentials have been developed over decades and today are used by more people than ever before for an increasing number of applications – from proving their identity, to international travel, and accessing government services.

Sessions on “Driving global interoperability” will explore how secure documents need to be readable in multiple locations by multiple actors. Systems need to interface with other systems. And end-users should be able to use their identity or credentials in new and innovative ways.
