Identity tech firm IDScan.net will be demonstrating a range of new technologies, including it's newly released Facial Recognition Solution at an upcoming trade show.

IDScan.net will be featuring its newly-released Facial Recognition Solution, which allows users to detect, identify, and verify individuals on and around their premises using a cutting-edge human analytics platform. Through computer vision and machine learning, the technology can recognize and measure people in any video, image, or photo.

"In today's climate, with rapidly evolving technologies, it's important that those charged with maintaining security of people and property have the absolute best tools in their arsenal," said Denis Petrov, CEO of IDScan.net, which was the first to market with mobile ID scanning capabilities nearly a decade ago. "Knowledge is power, and our solutions can put virtually everything you need to know about a person right in the palm of your hand in an instant."

The firm will be at Global Security Exchange (GSX) in Las Vegas on Sept. 23-27.

Another new solution on display will be a rugged handheld passport scanner. Developed in partnership with Panasonic, the solution is capable of reading Machine Readable Zone (MRZ), allowing organizations to scan passports and IDs from anywhere in the world. It allows users to scan, capture, and verify data embedded in the MRZ, including name, country, date of birth, and expiration date.
